Through pictures and texts, the project aims at reaching Aleppines in their mother language to highlight the importance of their Old City and their relationships towards their heritage. It is a chance to start an inclusive discussion about a common understanding of the Ancient City of Aleppo and its rebuilding process. Crossroads Aleppo is a project at the Museum of Islamic Art, in the Pergamon Museum, funded since 2017 by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung.
